Colin M. Day

Gallery Three is pleased to present Grey Areas, a solo exhibition by SF-based photographer Colin M. Day, featuring three large scale light paintings along with fifteen smaller pieces. The opening reception will be Saturday, October 6^th, from 7-11pm, and is free and open to the public for viewing through November 3^rd, 2012.

Grey Areas is the result of three years of Colin M. Day documenting from the center of the graffiti/urban art movement and the marijuana industry, and will feature a mix of 120 Medium format film, 35mm shot on a Dental Eye Macro Camera and digital.  A cluster of upward of a hundred small photos will be hung along the stairway showing the massive range of work and chaos that has lead to the central works comprising “Grey Areas.”
