“L’Avenir” Spotlight on Sainer

Etam Cru, Richmond, VA 2013

One of the artists included in White Walls’ upcoming Graffuturism group show, L’Aveniris renowned Polish street artist Sainer. The artist is well known for being half of the street art duo, Etam Cru, completed by Bezt. Their colossal street art is vibrant and imaginative, with the duo’s characters towering over apartment buildings and city streets around the globe. These incredible murals have a touch of old world folklore about them, taking inspirations from Eastern European tales. Sainer also works on canvas, creating more personal intimate works for individual viewers. His characters are striking and emotional, conveyed through powerful brushstrokes and set amid playfully surrealist atmospheres. See a few of our favorites after the jump.
