Augustine Kofie’s New TL Mural
Augustine Kofie started painting his new mural on the side of the Outsider yesterday. Just a stone’s throw away from White Walls and the Shooting Gallery on the corner of Geary and Larkin, the Outsider has been a staple local business in the Tenderloin for years. Kofie is moving on to the other side today, in a collab with Ripo, whose show Cut From the Chase opens in the WW Project Space tomorrow.
Kofie is well known for his ‘Vintage Futurist’ style featuring strong geometric vectors and abstract shapes, seen in these process shots and which the artist also brings to his canvas. Augustine Kofie will be featured in our upcoming 10 Year Anniversary Group Show, along with a strong line-up of local and international artists with whom we have had the pleasure to show over the past decade.
