Max ‘RIPO’ Rippon in Tudela de Navarra, Spain
Since his departure from San Francisco this summer, Max ‘RIPO‘ Rippon has been on to new and exciting projects in New York City and his beloved Spain. The artist passed along a few shots of the recent wall he completed in Tudela de Navarra. Inspired by his recent gallery piece Surreal But So Real, a beautiful work on paper included in his first US solo show, Signs, Fines, & Cheap Wines at White Walls, Rippon created this large-scale mural version halfway across the world. The wall was painted as part of the Avant-Garde Urbano festival organized by Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada. Other artists in the festival include C215, Escif, and JCHM IX.
