Max Rippon “Signs, Fines And Cheap Wines” (Complex)

Nick Schonberger of Complex posted a nice preview before the opening of Max Rippon’s “Signs, Fines, & Cheap Wines” of his works on paper.

Barcelona-based Max Rippon, aka Ripo, brings his sign painting-influenced handcut paper to the US for the first time next month. A residency at San Francisco’s White Walls Gallery culminates in a powerful solo show of 25 brand new works. These all play with the malleable shapes and forms of typography and infuse the artist’s statement with great energy.

Max Rippon’s first US solo exhibit will be on view through September 1st, 2012, so take some time to stop by the gallery!
