Many thanks to Mutamasik for documenting EINE painting this wall in Cholula, Mexico as a present for Faith47 to celebrate her wedding to DAleast back in January! The happy couple are both based in South Africa, where Faith47, herself, was born, once telling Format Mag “[This country] has raised me and given me hidings and heartaches. I’m rooted here but I’m no believer in patriotism. Lines drawn on a map with a pencil are not in sync with nature. Therefore I belong to this world at large. I breathe, in the knowledge that death is certain [and] I am trying to fully catch each breath.” Her recent work in Cape Town attests to a beautiful yet fleeting sense of home.

DALeast’s latest mural was featured in Arrested Motion just yesterday and it looks amazing. The graffiti scene in Cape Town seems to be brimming with talent- ABOVE has recently been painting throughout the city as well! You can see some of ABOVE’s work here and read a bit about his travels here.
