ABOVE just finished this dancer in Little Haiti. The wall is 30 feet tall and 56 feet wide. It’s hard to tell the size in the photos until you see the finished painting with ABOVE at work in front of it, and then the huge size really sets in! Stay tuned for those completed pictures!

Scope’s FirstView for VIP’s and Press was yesterday and we enjoyed a nice crowd at all four of the White Wall’s booths. The official opening of Scope Art Fair began at 11am today, and will continue opening at 11am up to Sunday, December 5th. ROA‘s solo show is officially open as of today at Scope Art Fair. The show is filled with ROA’s signature animals, heavily shaded and detailed, many as part of a center installation fitted with cages of wire and wood. Come see the full show at booth B33.

The slow-moving underwater mammals, affectionately termed sea cows because of their herbivorous diet, have been given a key placement in the Design district of Miami. International-artist ROA has been working on this immense painting of a manatee, an endangered species native to Florida, to call attention to their dwindling numbers.
