“Honest Man” is an independent film directed by Jim Dirschberger. This heart wrenching, and eye opening film is about the life and the suicide of politician, Budd Dwyer. The documentary searches into the depths of the cutthroat world of politics, filled with scandal, betrayal, and lies. Dwyer was a man who believed in the beauty of democracy, and served his state in justice. In the end, he was accused of fraud and bribery, which led to his public suicide. The film has personal interviews from his wife and others that were involved in the scandal.
