Excited for Skinner?

Excited for Skinner? Because we definitely are! The art of Skinner is so intricate and detailed it fills one with excitement, horror, and awe. Remember sitting in your mom’s Plymouth Voyager as she drove you around while you read comic books by  revolutionaries such as Charles Burns and Marvel Comics until you became sick to your stomach? Skinner was definitely one of these kids. His art screams sci-fi comic craze, mixed with a bit of heavy metal grotesque romance. His pieces are layered with multiple figures that could take hours to study, and are an orgasm for the eyes. So hold on tight, and get ready for a wet and wild ride at Skinner’s solo show at White Walls opening on August 14th.

Until then, here are some teasers to tantalize your inner Skinner with.

A time lapse video of a piece Skinner did at Bold Hype gallery in NYC.

Also, if you haven’t seen this yet, make sure to check it out in Lower Haight.

See ya on the streets!

  1. Not only his artwork is awesome, but he’s also a humble and cool person. I saw his intricate mural for Bold Hype. It was absolutely memorable:)
