Its gaze seems to penetrate YOUR VERY SOUL with its cool Yankee cigar chomp. Turns out, he’s the work of artist Hugh Leeman; and although the face made its debut on the sides of buildings and bus stops, it’s making the jump to an actual art gallery next week. According to a press release, “His wheat paste and graphite portraits are an attempt to communicate the displacement that homelessness is defined by.” What an interesting sentence.
